Super Mario Bros. is a platform video game developed by Nintendo in late 1985 and published for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). In Super Mario Bros., the titular character, Mario, seeks to rescue Princess Toadstool of the Mushroom Kingdom from Bowser, king of the Koopas. The player takes on the role of the main protagonist of the series, Mario. The objective is to race through the Mushroom Kingdom, survive  Bowser's forces and save Princess Toadstool from Bowser. If the player gains a red and yellow mushroom, Mario's size increases and he can take one extra hit from most enemies and obstacles. Press "Q" to start the game. Press "Q" in game to jump. Press "W" in combination with left or right arrow keys to run.
