The Honda CBR600 is a so-called super-athlete by Japanese vehicle manufacturer Honda. The CBR600 has been in production since 1986 and is currently in its seventh generation. In 1986, the Honda CBR600F was the first motorcycle with 600 CCM and full market coverage. The vehicle’s plastic covering minimises air resistance whilst driving, although this feature also led to the CBR 600 soon getting the nickname the swift yogurt-cup. In 2007, a lighter version of the Honda CB600 with a clearly improved performance came onto the market. This model no longer had the full plastic covering with several air-leading covering parts mounted instead, in order to reduce the weight of the machine while keeping air-resistance down to almost the previous level as before.
